I was born in Tomar in Portugal which is part of the World Heritage Site. I have a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures at the Faculty of Letters of Lisbon and a degree on Art Painting.
In 1997, I joined the French company BIC as director of the Portuguese subsidiary. After being Managing director of the Italian and Greek subsidiaries, I was appointed as European Managing Director.
In 2004, I moved to the textile sector, taking over the role of creative and marketing director for Mantero in Italy, where I worked with luxury brands such as Chanel, Armani and Prada.
In 2007 I accepted Louis Vuitton’s invitation to be director of the Champs Elysées shop in Paris. Finally I joined Hermes Paris in 2010, where I was in charge of the Silk and Textiles business.
I lived in eight different countries and I am a member of the World Portuguese Network since 2012.
I had the chance to work with artists and designers with whom I learned how to make people dream and if so, our mission is accomplished.
